The forthcoming PCAM Summer School 2026 intends to offer a prestigious four-day programme designed to deliver cutting-edge education and interdisciplinary collaboration. The School will focus on frontier areas of materials science.

Through lectures by leading Italian and international experts, participants will explore fundamental mechanisms, characterization methods, and the behavior of traditional and advanced materials under combined mechanical and environmental stresses.

An analysis of the technological and architectural restoration of the Mercado de Colon in Valencia, with a particular focus on the reinstatement of ornamental elements. The role of materials and construction techniques in the restoring process.

This seminar explores how technologies such as solar PV, wind, bioenergy, and battery storage can be integrated into large-scale regional energy systems. Using a case study of Sicily in 2050, the key steps in modelling these systems will be explored.

Theoretical and practical skills for writing successful proposals in the Horizon Europe program, with a specific focus on collaborative projects.
