A significant share of PhDs continue their career in academia and public research, with a significant presence also in international contexts and in the private sector.
Limiting ourselves to the most recent cycles, it is highlighted that
Cycle 34 (achievement 2021–2022)
In the 34th cycle, 3 PhDs are active in research (RTD, CNR and UNIME research fellows), 2 are employed in private institutions/companies, 2 are employed in public administration in the education sector.
Cycle 35 (achievement 2022–2023)
Among the 35th cycle doctors, 5 continue in the academic field or in public research (UNIME/CNR research fellows), 1 in the private sector and 1 in public administration.
Cycle 36 (achievement 2023)
In the 36th cycle, as many as 6 doctors are involved in research activities (research fellows, scholarship holders, researchers in foreign universities), while 1 in the private sector.
Cycle 37 (achievement 2024-2025)
For the 37th cycle, diversified paths emerge:
• 4 PhDs in academia and research (UNIME research fellows, post-docs abroad)
• 2 doctors employed in private institutions/companies
• 2 in freelance activity
